Welcome to D.I.C.E. Assessment & Employment Counselling Services.

Mission Statement

D.I.C.E. Assessment & Employment Counselling Services is committed to helping people with disabilities meet their need for social belonging through productive participation in society.

What is D.I.C.E.?

D.I.C.E. (Disability Impact on Career/Employment)  is a self-assessment tool designed for people with disabilities of all types to determine how their conditon affects their choice of career and their ability to sustain employment.

Why D.I.C.E.?

D.I.C.E. Assessment & Employment Counselling Services recognizes the gap created between vocational assessment and job placement when the impact of a person's disability on their career options and work performance is not taken into account, and when the significance of necessary workplace accommodations is not understood.

D.I.C.E. Assessment & Employment Counselling Services will fill this gap by factoring disability issues into the job placement equation so that a more realistic employment goal can be developed, thereby improving the odds for workplace success.

Testimonials

“The DICE is a comprehensive employment assessment that has helped STRIDE clients discover their uniqueness and vocational strengths. This tool offers concrete suggestions on how to leverage your differing abilities in the competitive workforce.”

Terri Skov, South Halton Manager, STRIDE

“The D.I.C.E Assessment is a wonderful tool that helps participants gain insight into career options and employment goals. The assessment considers the individuals disability, and helps our team decide the best job placements based on the results.   In addition, the assessment provides an in-depth summary of our participants skills, experience, limitations and barriers.  Denise also recommends appropriate accommodations suitable to the individuals disability to ensure successful job placements.  Denise is highly knowledgeable, and her excellent customer service and support are very much appreciated.”

Sarah DeFillippis, Program Coordinator, Empowering Abilities Program, Career Foundation

The D.I.C.E. assessment is by far the most comprehensive questionnaire vis-à-vis employment and persons with disabilities that I've seen. I can't think of anything that was left out. The questions are asked in a clear and direct manner and allows participants to think about employment barriers in unique ways.

Ms. Feltham has made it her mission to help people with disabilities discover their true authentic selves. I highly recommend the D.I.C.E. assessment as it not only helps present how things are currently, but what they could be.
